Aboriginal Health Promotion and Chronic Care (AHPACC)
The purpose of the AHPACC program is to ensure that ATSI (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Victorians can access primary health care that is culturally respectful and addresses aspects of health including prevention, promotion and treatment aligned with their emotional, social and cultural wellbeing.
Who would benefit from the program?
Anyone over 18 years old, who has a chronic illness or is at risk of developing a chronic illness.
What does the Program offer?
A women’s community kitchen program that runs once a week.
Participants learn that healthy eating along with regular physical activity is the best way to manage your weight and reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, heart disease and many other conditions.

Transport can be provided.
The program offers the opportunity to join in with other Community members in a group environment.

Gold coin donation required for both physical activity & Community Kitchen programs
