Counselling
Community Health Counsellors are available to talk to people about issues affecting their lives. Clients are able to talk, confidentially, to a professional counsellor who can help develop goals to resolve these issues.
Drink Driving
The Drink Drive program provides education and assessments for people who have lost their licence as a result of a drink driving or drug related offence. Fees apply for this service.
Drugs and Alcohol
This service provides counselling, education and health promotion to people who are concerned about their own or someone else’s alcohol or drug issues.
Financial Counselling
This service helps people regain control over their money by establishing and adhering to a sensible budget and also provides help with debt management. It is available to anyone who is experiencing problems with their financial affairs.
Family Violence Program
This service helps women and children who are affected by family violence. It provides a range of free and confidential services in a safe environment. Depending upon the client’s individual circumstances, this service may help with alternative accommodation, counselling, advocacy, court support and access to other relevant services.
Gamblers Help
Gamblers’ Help is a free and confidential service helping problem gamblers or those affected by someone else’s gambling. This service is provided over the phone or face-to-face in a safe and confidential environment.
Koori Services
Community Health helps Indigenous families affected by substance misuse by providing services through the Koori Court. People directed from the Koori Court are linked into Community Health’s drug and alcohol service.
Needle and Syringe Program
A confidential Needle and Syringe service is available to intravenous drug users.
Neighbourhood Renewal
Community Health coordinates Shepparton’s Parkside Gardens’ Neighbourhood Renewal program which includes an opportunity shop, training centre and the coordination of education and learning opportunities for residents.
