Supported Accommodation
Offering women a change of environment where needs, such as furnished accommodation, access to neighborhood living in an environment that does not actively encourage consumption of drugs, enables the effect of the intervention to continue and the woman to establish positive changes to their lifestyle.
The Drug and Alcohol Supported Accommodation Program offers:
- Short term housing to women who have withdrawn from alcohol and/or drugs
- Family accommodation for women with dependant children
- Relapse Prevention strategies
- Counselling
- Referral to other appropriate services
- Assistance in applying for long term accommodation
- Advocacy
